Seymour hitched a ride on a car heading North and when the car stopped he crawled off the bumper and investigated the area. The sign atop the gift shop informed Seymour he had travelled to Shannon Falls, a delightful point of interest and picnic spot for those travelling North to Whistler.
Seymour followed the signs on the path towards the falls - he could hear the roar of the falls' crashing water long before he reached the lookout. He rested on a stump that was so large, it most certainly must have been from an old growth forest.
Seymour knew he was getting close to the falls when he saw a stream at the side of the path. This was another lovely shady spot for a snail to rest, but Seymour was very careful not to get too close to the water's edge, as snails are not known for their swimming abilities.
When he finally reached a clear vantage point, Seymour sighed in awe of the drama and beauty of the vigorous waterfall - the long journey had definitely been worth it.
