Snail on the Move - Day 2

After a restful evening nestled amidst hosta leaves, Seymour decided to continue his search for cousin Pierre. Never having considered himself an intellectual slow-poke, Seymour believed if he thought hard enough he would figure out how to find his cousin; knowing full well Pierre was a braggart and know-it-all, he contemplated how Pierre might next try to best Seymour in his knowledge of the fabulous city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Ah-ha, he thought, Pierre will visit all the tourist hot spots and, when next they meet, he'll no doubt attempt to dazzle me with vivid descriptions of the city. Seymour decided to tour the city himself - in the process he might find his cousin's snail trail.

First he headed for Cleveland Dam; the weather was lovely

and so was the scenery.

Next he tried the Ecology Centre - very educational, but no sign of Pierre.

By this time Seymour was seeking shade as his delicate complexion felt rather dry from the heat, so he decided to call it a day and carry on his search tomorrow.
