Seymour was hungry and although he stretched his eyeball-topped tentacles in all directions there was no tender lettuce to be found, so he opted for popcorn (with no salt!).
With his hunger satisfied, Seymour headed towards the Vancouver Aquarium and looked in on the Stellar sea lions ... hmmmmm, much smaller than he'd imagined.
A magnificent bronze sculpture, Killerwhale (also known as Chief of the Undersea World), designed by Bill Reid was located just in front of the Aquarium entrance. Seymour lingered at the edge of it's infinity-style pool to study the great work of art and he was greatly impressed by its large scale, elegant shape, and the beauty of its contemporary native styling.
After his long journey across the park, with its near death experiences, his emotional angst, and the many disappointments he'd experienced so far in
his search for Pierre, Seymour was feeling overheated and weary. The pool looked extremely inviting and after only slight hesitation Seymour slipped into the refreshing coolness of the pool.
Seymour soon felt energized and ready to create a fresh snail trail and renew the search for his cousin.
