The Mountain

Seymour headed toward the gondola: he wanted to see the view from the top of the mountain.

It took him awhile to get the hang of getting off the gondola, he wanted to see every bit of the view from the window, so by the time the gondola reached it's destination at the top of the mountain and Seymour had managed to crawl off the seat and onto the floor, the gondola doors shut and he found himself heading back down the mountain.

On his third loop (hours after he first crawled inside the gondola), he managed to get out at the top (he'd spent the entire ride glued to the edge of the door so that when the doors slid open he was able to retract his foot so that he dropped onto the floor right beside the opening and the momentum of his fall allowed him to roll out of the gondola.

The view from the top was worth the frustration of the journey! Even though it was a cloudy day, the views were spectacular in every direction...

... especially the view he shared with a stoney-faced fellow who appeared to be visiting from the Yukon or from parts further north.
